MLP Network

Within Dementia Care Aware, the Medical-Legal Partnership Network (MLP Network) has partnered with legal aid organizations and health care systems across California. The MLP Network has developed trainings for primary care teams on common legal issues that affect people with cognitive impairment. 

What Can the MLP Network Offer Me? 

The DCA MLP Network is available to provide free trainings (in-person and/or virtually) to primary care clinicians and teams on the following medical-legal topics: Advance Care Planning, Capacity, Consumer Debt, Disability Forms, Elder Abuse & Neglect, Housing, Income Supports, Medi-Cal, In-Home Supportive Services, & Long-Term Care, Paid Family Leave, Planning Needs & Considerations for Immigrants, and Preventing the Need for Conservatorship.  CE and CME/MOC credit is available to attendees.
